Ihana has a date with Sandy

Where we are at - the safest place on the whole east coast! [Except maybe for on-the-hard.]
If the hurricane stays offshore (all models predict that), we are in the good [left-hand] quadrant - which means winds NE->N->NW.  Perfect, as we have little fetch to the north.  We are literally "up a creek", protected from all sides except south, so little surge expected [i.e. we won't float up, over and off the docks and pelican poles.]

Tucked in on Dowry Creek, near Belhaven NC
Dowry Creek Marina (in lower- center above)
Note protection from N, W & E.
Stay out there, Sandy!
Better here in Carolina than in Florida or the Northeast.
